At Kids Vision for Life St. Louis (KVFL) volunteers make a real difference in the lives of the students we serve. During the 2019-20 school year, KVFL volunteers helped provide vision screenings to over 46,000 students.
Last school year during the pandemic we halted our volunteer program in order to uphold the highest quality of safety measures. We are looking forward to relaunching our program this upcoming school year.
Volunteers with KVFL assist in vision screenings at over 165 elementary, middle, and high schools in the St. Louis area. You do not need any previous vision experience to volunteer- we will provide the necessary training.
KVFL has updated the policies and procedures for the program. All volunteers must read and sign the KVFL Confidentiality and Policy Agreement before you can begin working with the program.
If you are interested in volunteering during the upcoming 2021-22 school year, please contact JJ Scarbrough at JJM@kidsvisionforlifestlouis.com.
